Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, has paid a congratulatory visit to former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, following his victory at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Ganduje visited Okorocha at his Abuja residence on Thursday.
Speaking during the visit, Ganduje said he was excited when he heard the judgment that favoured the former governor.
“I was excited when I heard the judgment. It is a well-deserved victory and a vindication of your struggle,” Ganduje told Okorocha.
The Federal High Court in Abuja had recently delivered judgment in favour of Okorocha in a case bordering on his property and political rights.
Okorocha, who appreciated Ganduje for the visit, described the former APC chairman as a true friend and brother who stood by him during difficult times.
The visit has sparked reactions in political circles, with many seeing it as a sign of renewed alliance between the two former governors ahead of 2027.
