Men of Oyo State Police command have arrested two suspected kidnappers. The suspects were arrested in connection with the kidnap of a 38-year-old man, identified as Nathaniel Peter. Peter was kidnapped at Layeri Village, via Ikoyi-Ile, in the state. Public Relations Officer of the command, Olayinka Ayanlade rvealed this in a statement Sunday. An explosion at a gas refilling outlet near Liberty Junction in Kubwa, Abuja, caused panic among residents early Sunday morning after a fire broke out at the facility. Kano State has emerged as the leading state in the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the National Examinations Council (NECO), with 74,413 candidates securing at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics. The OK Movement says its 59-man Presidential Campaign Council is still intact. This is despite the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, rejecting the campaign team.
