Police operatives in Benue State on Friday rescued five of the 14 travellers allegedly abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Ankpechi–Omutele axis of Ohimini Local Government Area of the state. The Nigeria Police Force has announced the deployment of no fewer than 30 Commissioners of Police and more than 15,000 personnel for Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.
